What to Say to a Retiring Police Officer
Police officers sacrifice their safety and sanity for the good of society. It's a difficult job, and some don't make it to retirement age or stay with it long enough to retire. When an officer does retire, the following examples could be used to wish the officer a happy retirement.

- You'll always be part of the brotherhood in blue. We have mad respect for whatever you chose to do.
- Time is on your side now. There's no emergency to respond to. There's just your own dreams for what to do next.
- You left your family many days to protect ours. Please enjoy your new-found time with your family and friends.
