Funny and Some Terrible Tattoo Sayings

Before you go and have one of these funny sayings tattooed on yourself, make sure you that you really want it.  It might seem funny now, but you may not want it in the years to come, which is what some of these funny tattoo sayings are about.

• I’m probably going to regret this one day (This one is funny because it shows that you had the insight to not get a tat, but you decided to anyway)
• Not Temporary (This one is to hold off people who would otherwise open their mouths and say, "Dang is that a real tattoo?)
• Of course it hurt when I got this tattoo (This one is to hold off another common question about tattoos)
• This was a dare (The perfect tattoo for when you are dared to get a tattoo.  No explanation required)
• This was my first tattoo (This one is funny if it's your only tattoo or if you have a ton of them, but not if you just have a few)
• Now I have a cool tattoo (Irony makes this one funny in that it isn't a cool tattoo)
• I got this just like everyone else, so I could be different (People will think you are different with this as a tattoo)
• Mistake (Make it even funnier by spelling it wrong)
• Poor Judgment (This will even make the legalistic religious people laugh)

• MOM would not approve of this tattoo (The key here is to make sure it looks like a big "MOM" tattoo from the distance, but make the letters be made of the words, "Mom would not approve of this tattoo)
• I don’t want a job (You may as well tattoo this to go along with any other tattoos that are showing when you show up for an interview)
• Relax… I’m not going to mug you (For people who stereotype)
• No Smoking (Especially funny with a no smoking symbol... and of course, if you smoke)
• Alcoholic Beverages are Prohibited (Put this one right over your liver for full effect)
• No Diving (It would be funny to have this anywhere really, so you can think of the best place)
• Private Property (You know where this goes)
• Keep off the Grass (Armpit, chest, or anywhere else you have hair)
• Beware of Dog (This one really isn't that funny)
• I Couldn’t Find Anything Else to Write On (Shows laziness, only it's a bit ironic because it's a tattoo)
